PROMISE & LEADING TALENT
There are two sub-categories of visa endorsements an applicant can apply to under the Global Talent Visa program. The applicant must demonstrate that they are either:
No need to hold a college degree, since academic qualifications will not be taken into account (unless you have a PhD, in that case - bring it on!)
No need to have any business idea or initial funding ready (as with Startup Visa or £50,000 of investment with Innovator Visa)
Flexibility in certain employment options, flexibility to work full-time for anyone (f.e. Startup Visa grants obstructed work permit, Tier 2 visa grants restricted work permit, Innovator & Sole Rep Visa holders are not allowed to work)
NO DEGREE
NO BUSINESS IDEA
(OR FUNDING)
FLEXIBILITY

HOW CAN WE GET YOU THE TALENT VISA

1
PREPARATION STAGE
Our goal and our highest priority is to ensure that our customer is successfully endorsed. This is how we get to that point:

We need to prove two things to the Home Office:
Contributed
You have contributed to the technological sector either directly (by being a tech founder or an employee) or indirectly (by going beyond your day-to-day responsibilities).
Recognised
You are recognised as a leading talent of your industry or you have the potential to be one.

2
THE CONTRIBUTION
We would build a cohesive Case Map with you to emphasise your achievements and to prepare a solid case for the Home office. While building the Case Map we would discuss every person you have worked with/for and belongs to the professional network you might call "friends".

The reason for doing this is that the plainest and the easiest way to demonstrate the impact you have made on the company or a project is to have a strong reference letter. Carefully written recommendation letter, that contains key words that Home Office pays attention to, goes a very long way. Evidential reference letters are a backbone of the well-prepared case.
Documentary evidence showing the companies you have owned/managed
Various documentary evidence showing the companies you have owned/managed, the projects you have led/worked on, the deals you have closed/participated in, the services you have performed, etc.
In simple terms, we need to prove and demonstrate your professional achievements and your money-earning potential. We know where to look for achievements and how to sell them to the Home Office.

Have you had a small arrangement with a startup 5 years ago? Splendid! Have you indirectly participated in a deal with some big fish in the corresponding market? Stunning! Have you ever hired someone, even the office manager? Excellent!

Evidence demonstrating the impact of your actions on the tech sector
Various documentary evidence demonstrating the impact of your actions on the tech sector. We would interview you to find these changes - no matter big or small - guiding you through what might be accepted by Tech Nation as evidence.

Were there any improvements/positive changes in the companies that you have managed, advised or worked with/for? We know that there were!

Evidence directly demonstrating your innovations
What we would ask of you is to recall examples of ideas or projects. Through careful and thoughtful planning and presentation, we can secure you your endorsement. What we need to demonstrate is how you went outside your job responsibilities to create, innovate and improve workplace.

Have you pitched a new way of sending emails to your supervisor? Have you suggested your team to do something differently? At some point, you certainly have since no innovation is too small!

THE RECOGNITION
Our main goal here is to flesh you out as a character. Please bear in mind, that the Tech Nation receives many applications from various super-duper tech-meh multi-billion founders. Even if you might count yourself fitting description, a Tech Nation caseworker might not.

What we do here is we work on selling you and your story as whole, not just a faceless mishmash of documents and facts. Due to the obscure and private endorsement process, your visa depends on the decision of the person evaluating you as a whole. By making you story interesting, your case solid, and you, likable as a character, we can secure an endorsement.
Recognition reference letters
Plain and simple. The Tech Nation requires at least 3 of these letters. Nevertheless, these letters are subject to a few rules and must be in a certain format, by effectively:

  • Meeting all the specific Tech Nation technical requirements;
  • Coming from leading specialists. People signing these Recognition letters and appraising you as a leading talent should be leading talents themselves. It is one of the guidelines. The logic behind this is that the Recognition letter should include the signer recognising you as a peer rather than a random Joe Shmoe commenting on how smart you probably are;
  • Being written in a personal manner. Strict and dry letters are hardly helping Tech Nation to evaluate you as a person, who will be shaping the future of your professional field;

Speaking and exhibiting experiences.
We will talk about times when you have been invited to speak anywhere. Every public speech you have given in your life does matter. This would go to your CV, add value to our application, and potentially be a competitive edge. If possible, we would advise you to actively participate in selected events and conferences.
Media engagement
We will collect everything that is on you on the web. If possible, we would advise you to write some articles to the recognised free-to-publish websites.
Awards
We will include you awards in your portfolio. Just as innovations, no award is too small!
The employee of the month? Perfect! Awards work in a way that every small piece of recognition counts towards the whole picture of you as a Global Talent.
